AN estate agent has become the latest business in Bishop Auckland to benefit from a shop security project.
Lifestyle Properties, in Newgate Street, received a grant from Bishop Auckland and Shildon Security Grant Scheme to improve security measures and reduce crime and anti-social behaviour.
Ashley Fenwick, director of Lifestyle Properties, said: “I initially rang the council looking to see if there was any funding available for my shop front, this is when I heard about the security grant scheme that was available to me.
“I thought this was a good opportunity to beef up the security on our new property. This has given all the staff peace of mind and an increased sense of security.”
