THE painting for Pleasure Art Club is moving to Trimdon Village Hall from Thursday, February 27.

Sessions take place from 1pm to 3pm every Thursday during term time and cost £3.50, including tea, coffee and biscuits. The class is run by a qualified tutor who delivers one-to-one tuition to those who wish for it. A free taster session will be offered to painters of all ability and media who would like to come along and find out more.

CHURCH SERVICE: Aycliffe Spiritualist Church is holding a service at Agnew Community Centre, Morrison Close, Woodham, Newton Aycliffe, from 7pm on Monday, February 17. Medium David Wheeler will lead the service. All are welcome. Tea and coffee will be served.

BIKE MARKING: Newton Aycliffe Neighbourhood Police Team will hold a bike security marking session at Newton Aycliffe Youth Centre on Burn Lane. From 10am to 3pm on Saturday, February 10.

TYRE SLASHING: All four wheels of a green Toyota Yaris were slashed while the vehicle was parked at Hallington Head, Newton Aycliffe, between 6.30pm on Wednesday, February 5 and 8.40am the following morning.
