Kneehigh founder to perform solo Great Expectations in St John's Chapel

GREAT EXPECTATIONS: Dave Mynne and Rabbit Theatre will perform a one man show of the Charles Dickens classic Great Expectations at St John’s Chapel Town Hall in Weardale, County Durham, at 2pm on Sunday, March 2. Mr Mynne, who founded Cornwall’s Kneehigh Theatre, will perform, the whole story aided only by a few props. MUSIC NIGHT: Sedgefield Folk Club is hosting a live music night from 7.45pm tomorrow (February 14). The event, at Sedgefield Cricket Club in Sedgefield, County Durham, will feature performances by Flossie with Paul Donelly, Izzie Burns Band, John Wrightson Band and Andrew Darnton. STORY WALK: Rod Campbell’s classic children’s book Dear Zoo will be the focus of a Toddler Trails and Tales storytelling session at Hardwick Park, near Sedgefield, in County Durham, on Saturday (February 15).
