Shildon Civic Centre to host fundraiser
A CHARITY night with a disco, comedian and live music will be held at Shildon Civic Centre on Friday, February 21, 7pm.
Tickets available on the door priced £4 for adults, £3 under 12s and free to children under two.
Proceeds in aid of The Sick Children’s Trust and the paediatric intensive care unit at the Royal Victoria Infirmary, in Newcastle.
HOME PLAN: A planning application to convert a disused office building at Hall Farm, Byers Green, into a house has been submitted to Durham County Council by David Cassie, of Cares Group Holdings. Consultation ends on February 28.

LOOKING BACK: The first meeting of Etherley and Toft Hill Historical Society will be held at Etherley Methodist Chapel on Wednesday, February 19, at 7pm. It will be a 'Bring your own history night' with organisers hoping villagers will share photos and documents relating to the villages with others.
