SHOP staff ware shouting out loud that they want to hear the views of their customers.

Workers at the Co-operative Food Store in Broom Lane, Brandon, posed with a giant megaphone to promote the Co-operative Group’s nationwide consultation.

The Have Your Say campaign, the biggest in the Co-op’s history, aims to get the views of customers and the public in the communities it serves.

Store manager David Longstaff said: “The Co-operative is a community-based retailer, which means it is really important to be in touch with what our customers, and the wider public, think, not just about us, but also about the communities we share."

YouGov is doing the research and the results will feed into a strategy review chaired by Co-op chief executive Euan Sutherland.

The Co-operative Group is the UK’s largest mutual group with nearly eight million members and the fifth largest food retailer.
