SCHOOL pupils are learning about space with the help of scientific Lego.
The science club at Bishop Barrington School are one of 25 schools to be awarded the Lego Mindstorms after putting together an application explaining what the group does and how they would benefit from new equipment.
Pupils are now working hard in preparation for a competition in Manchester in June against the other schools, in which six Year Seven and Eight pupils from the club will complete a space challenge using the Lego.
Teacher Charlotte Thompson, who runs the science club, said: βIt is going really well and the pupils love it. It is something different and the competition will be good. We have got some T-shirts printed ready for when we go.β
