Make-up classes for cancer sufferers in Darlington
Updated 1:26pm Tuesday 4th March 2014 in By Joanna Morris
CANCER sufferers are being offered free make-up lessons in a bid to help combat the physical side effects of treatment.
Skin care and make-up masterclasses will take place at Darlington’s Bannatyne Hotel on Tuesday, March 11.
The classes are being organised by the Look Good Feel Better charity specifically for women who are going through cancer treatment.
A ten-step regime will be demonstrated by volunteer beauty professionals with the aim of helping to improve the wellbeing and confidence of those with cancer.
The classes, taking place from 1pm until 3pm, also allow participants to meet others in a similar situation.
