Dance inspired fitness class launched in Newton Aycliffe

A FITSTEPS fitness class which combines ballroom and Latin dance steps for a fun and energetic workout will be held at 6.30pm every Monday at Newton Aycliffe Youth and Community Centre on Burn Lane. The class costs £3 per session. For more information, contact 01325-307522.
SPIRITUAL SERVICE: Aycliffe Spiritualists meet at Agnew Community Centre, Morrison Close, Woodham, Newton Aycliffe, at 7pm every Monday, except bank holidays. Tea and coffee is served afterwards. All are welcome.
BIKE MARKING: Newton Aycliffe Neighbourhood Police Team is holding a bike security marking event from noon to 4pm on Saturday, March 15. The event, which is part of Operation Spoke, will take place at the old BHP solicitors’ office in the town centre.
BOARD MEETING: Great Aycliffe and Middridge Partnership is holding a board meeting at Newton Aycliffe Youth and Community Centre on Burn Lane from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday, March 18. MUSIC CLASS: Newton Aycliffe Youth and Community Centre on Burn Lane is staging a “Popnosis” class on Saturday mornings for youngsters who like to sing or rap. The first session, Jammin’ Juniors, is for five to 11-year-olds and runs from 10am to 11am. The Slammin’ Seniors session is for 12 to 18-year-olds and runs from 11am to noon. The classes cost £3.
