NEW seats and bins have been installed on a playing field.

The eight seats and two bins were put in place on the football field in Langley Park, near Durham City, following a £3,090 grant from Biffa.

Keith Hartfield, secretary of Langley Park Environmental Group, said: “We would like to thank Biffa for this grant and also thanks to all the volunteers who cleared the field and who will regularly cut the grass and litter pick each week.”

Great to see Biffa supporting this intiative but what's being done to stop the litter being dropped in the first place. If would you like to try some of signs please get in touch.
