DATES have been confirmed for the 181st annual Durham Regatta, which will take place over the now traditional second weekend in June.
Crews from across the country will head to the city for two days of racing in what is dubbed ‘The Henley of the North’, over short and long courses on the River Wear, on June 14/15.
There will also be a host of trade stands and bank-side activities, including a classic car rally, brass bands and a beer festival.
Applications for trade stands can now be made. Further details are available via www.durham-regatta.org.uk, with the deadline Friday April 25.
