A DOG owner is appealing for help to trace her pet which went missing from her Darlington home.
Molly, a five-year-old Saluki, went missing from the property in Wellbeck Avenue, in the Haughton area of Darlington overnight on Friday, March 14.
Her owner, Paula Stephenson, said it was completely out of character for Molly to go missing.
“It is awful, it is like losing one of your children,” she said.
“We have had her since she was six weeks old, we are absolutely gutted. We have been looking all over town for her.
“It is not like her at all to go missing – she is a family pet and has never done this before.”
Molly is a sandy colour and wears a black collar. A reward is being offered for anyone who finds her.
Anyone with any information can call Ms Stephenson on 01325-487203 or 07795-109-956.
