THERE will be a race night at the St Cuthbert’s Centre, in Crook, on Friday, March 28, at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £3, which includes a pie and pea supper, and are available from Brian Rinaldi on 01388-762046.
There will also be a licensed bar.
Proceeds will go towards the new disabled access at the centre.
FUNDRAISING NIGHT: Singer Chyrelle Addams will perform at Bishop Auckland Cricket Club on Saturday, March 22, at 7pm, in aid of Small Steps epilepsy awareness. There will be a tombola, raffle, name the bear and a buffet. Tickets are £2 and are available by calling Sarah on 07713-591123.
COUNCIL MEETING: The next meeting of West Auckland Parish Council will take place in the Monteith Close Community Room, on Moday, April 14, at 7pm.
CAR WASH: Eden House, Bishop Auckland, is holding a charity car wash on Saturday, March 22, between 10am and 4pm, to raise money for the residents’ fund. Each wash costs £3.
BLIND DOGS: The next meeting of Breathe Easy Durham Dales will take place at Bishop Auckland Methodist Church, on Thursday, April 3, from 2pm until 3.30pm. Christine Kay will give a talk on blind dogs. Admission is free and refreshments will be available.
