BIKE THEFT: Police are hunting burglars who broke into a garage on Yew Tree Avenue, in Shildon, to steal a blue quad bike and a child’s white off-road bike. The break-in took place between February 23, and March 11. Anyone with details about the crime should contact Shildon police on 101.

POLICE APPEAL: Thieves stole two children’s cycles from a rear garden on Stephenson Court between Wednesday, March 12, and the following day. They stole a black and white Vertigo bike with a skull pattern on it and a red, white and blue cycle. Burglars also failed to break-in to another garage on Stephenson Court the same night. Anyone with details about the offences should contact Shildon police on 101.

WINDOW SMASHED: A pool ball and a bottle of alcohol were used to smash the front window of a house on The Oval, in Shildon, at some point after 12.30am on Sunday, March 16. Anyone with details about the crime should contact Shildon police on 101.
