WITNESS APPEAL: Police are investigating a hit and run collision involving a black Ford Focus and a blue VW Polo close to the Burns Tavern, in Thompson Street East, Darlington, on Saturday afternoon. The Ford vehicle sustained damage in the incident but the driver of the Polo made off without stopping. SEWERS MEET: The Drawn Threads Sewing Circle will meet at Bobbin Shed 21, at Lingfield Point, in Darlington, tomorrow (Tuesday, March 25) between 7pm and 9pm.
