A MOUNTAIN bike worth around £2,000 has been stolen in a burglary in Darlington.

The IronHorse Sunday downhill mountain bike was taken from a property in Brougham Street, Darlington, overnight on Saturday, March 22 to Sunday, March 23, as well as a red Snap-on toolbox.

The bike is black and has full suspension, with white front suspension forks.

PC Simon Hopper, of Darlington Police, is appealing for any witnesses to call 101, quoting incident number DHM-23032014-0146.
