A NEW session for babies and pre-school children has started in Aldbrough St John.

Richmond Children’s Centre has launched a stay and play session, in the village hall, on Tuesdays, from 1.30pm to 3pm.

It will run weekly during term time.

CHURCH CONCERT: The Barnard Castle Christian Fellowship presents country singer-songwriter Michael Harcus at the United Reform Church, Hall Street, Barnard Castle, on Monday, March 31, from 7.30pm to 9pm. Free entry. Refreshments will be served afterwards.

SLIDE SHOW: Barnard Castle Ramblers are inviting people to a slide show, by Dave Williams, detailing his journey around New Zealand. NEARLY NEW SALE: St Osmunds Pre-School, in Gainford, is holding a nearly new sale of baby and children’s goods on Saturday, April 5, from 2pm to 5pm. Activities include Easter crafts for children, which cost 50p, quizzes and afternoon tea, for £2.50. Entry is £1 for adults and free for children.
