Salvation Army host kids club

KIDS CLUB: The Salvation Army hosts a kids club for children aged between five and 11 at its Citadel in Thompson Street East, in Darlington, on Tuesday, March 1, between 6pm and 7pm. Entry is 50p per child. Parents are welcome to stay and join in.
WATER BABIES: Aqua Natal, water-based exercise for new and expectant mothers, will take place at the Dolphin Centre on Tuesday, March 1, between 3.15pm and 4.15pm or 6pm to 7pm. Cost £3.25. Call 01325-254370 for more details.
CANCER SUPPORT: The Darlington and Teesdale Breast Cancer Support Group meets on the first Tuesday of each month, at 7.30pm, at the surgical outpatients, C Floor, Darlington Memorial Hospital. Call 01325-743290 for details.
VETERANS CAFE: Age UK welcomes veterans of the armed services to its Bradbury House headquarters in Beaumont Street, Darlington, on the first and third Wednesday of each month. The free group meets between 10am and noon. Details are available on 01325-362838.
ACCESS MUSIC: A free Access to Music open evening will take place at The Forum, in Borough Road, Darlington, between 5pm and 7pm on Wednesday, April 2. The event will offer more information about Access to Music, a tour of the facilities and the chance to ask questions of tutors and current students. COFFEE & CHAT: St Mary’s Community Church, on the corner of Stooperdale Avenue and Newton Lane, in Darlington, are inviting anyone who is lonely, elderly or wants to make new friends to come along for a cup of tea and a chat on the first Wednesday of each month between 2.30pm and 4pm. A small donation is requested. Suitable for ages 50 plus.
