POLICE are appealing for information about a burglary, which involved a hole being cut in the back door of a home in North Yorkshire.
Investigating officers say the hole was cut in the back door of a property in Oldstead near Byland Abbey and Helmsley between 2pm and 2.30pm on Friday, March 21.
They say it is not known yet if anything was taken in the incident.
Anyone who saw or heard any suspicious people or vehicles in the area around the time, is urged to contact the police on 101 and ask for PC Melony Pitchford or Malton police.
