Northern Crafts have 15 stalls at The Witham, Barnard Castle, on Saturday

NORTHERN Crafts will have 15 stalls of locally handmade goods and gifts in Barnard Castle on Saturday.
The goods are on sale at The Witham, on Horsemarket, from 9.30am to 3.30pm. Free entry.
MUSIC NIGHT: St Mary’s Church, on Newgate, Barnard Castle, presents the Keld Ensemble, on Saturday, at 7pm. Entry is £12, £6 for students and £3 for under 16s. To book, call Andy Wardale 07786-391800.
EASTER ACTIVITIES: A day of sport and street dance for youngsters aged nine to 12, or in school years five to eight, takes place at Teesdale School, Barnard Castle, on Wednesday, April 9, from 10am to 3pm. SUPPER DANCE: A sequence dancing event, with Dave Sams, takes place at Butterknowle village hall, on Saturday, from 8pm to 11.30pm. Tickets cost £7, including supper. To book, call 01388-718075.
CRAFT FAIR: There will be a books, collectables and a craft fair at the Gaunless Valley visitor centre, at The Slack, Butterknowle, on Sunday, from noon to 4pm. Free entry.
NEARLY NEW SALE: St Osmunds Pre-School, in Gainford, is holding a nearly new sale of baby and children’s goods on Saturday, from 2pm to 5pm. Activities include Easter crafts for children, which cost 50p, quizzes and afternoon tea, for £2.50. Entry is £1 for adults and free for children.
NORTHERN SOUL: Burden of Paradise, featuring Snake Davis, performs at Mickleton village hall, on Saturday, at 7.30pm. To book tickets, call 01833-640331.
