Date set for Newton Aycliffe tabletop sale

THE Friends of Senior Citizens in Newton Aycliffe is holding a tabletop sale in the town centre from 9am to 4pm on Saturday, May 10. Tables are available for £5, with set up from 8am. To book, contact 01325-313924.

PETTING ZOO: Acorn Residents Association is holding a petting zoo at Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre from 11am to 2pm on Friday, April 11. The event will also include inflatable toys, a tombola, face painting and free dog chipping in the foyer. Entry is £1 and will be used to raise funds for future events.

POLICE MEETINGS: The Deaf Hill and Trimdon Station Police and Community Together (PACT) meeting will take place at Trimdon Station Community Centre, at Station Road East, at 6pm tomorrow (Thursday, April 3). The Trimdon Village and Trimdon Grange PACT meeting at Trimdon Grange Community Centre, at Kielder Drive, at 6pm on Monday, April 7.
