Paperboy's bike stolen

The Advertiser Series: Paperboy's bike stolen Paperboy's bike stolen

A PAPERBOY is being forced to do his round on foot, after thieves stole the bicycle he bought out of his own wages.

Kyle Davidson left the dark silver Reebok bike parked outside his home in Locomotive Street, Darlington, on Tuesday (April 1) evening.

He went into the house to watch the Champions League clash between Manchester United and Bayern Munich between 8pm and 9pm.

When he returned, the bike was gone.

His furious mother, Ellen, said: "There won't be many bikes of this type around.

"It's taken away his transport for his job, he's going to have to walk round.

"I just think it's disgusting that someone has taken the bike, especially considering he used his own money to buy it.

"The bike wasn't locked up, but it was right outside my front window and whoever has taken it must have been able to see us sat inside watching the football."

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.

An unlocked bike will be stolen in minutes in Darlington. Even a locked bike will be stolen or vandalised if left for any length of time.

What a silly pathetic childish shocking remark namely 'Crush Bikes' from darloboss, How old ?. Decent law-abiding working class people (who actually do a Job of work), subject to 'thieving unemployable local scumbags', many of course on long term free workshy state benefits. The poor lad was only trying to do a paperbound to EARN a few Pounds. So did you not ? own or ride a bike when you were young.?.

wow, talk about if a cap fits, How does anyone know that the person or persons responsible are unemployed and or receiving state benefits or local. It could have well been a employed person or persons just visiting Darlington and saw a bike and temptation got the better of them.
