Student holds charity fitness event

A FUN fitness event is being held to raise money for charity.
Event management student Heather Addison will hold the event at Lord Lawson of Beamish Academy in Birtley on Sunday (April 13) starting at 1.30pm. The money raised will aid research into Langerhans Histiocytosis and Meningitis.
The event is being sponsored By Fusion Studios North East, Northumbrian Water and Cofely, the management company of the academy.
Participants will be able to try out a series of fitness classes including Zumba, Piloxing, Fitstep, Insanity, Pound, Powerhoops and Metafit for adults and Zumba, Powerhoops and games for children over two years old .
Fusion Studios North East is providing the equipment and qualified instructor.
Tickets are available from Fusion Studios North East, Harras Bank, Birtley, and on the door.
