A public meeting to discuss concerns about crime in Durham City is being held on Thursday, April 10, at 6pm in Elvet Riverside Lecture Theatres, New Elvet, Durham. Community police officers will be there. All welcome.
SPRING CLEAN: Volunteers are needed to help the Friends of Chopwell Wood, near Gateshead, to clear out the dropped, dumped and windblown rubbish from the woodland. Gloves, litter-pickers, and bags will be provided for a spring clean between 11am-2pm on Saturday, April 12. Everyone is welcome and people are asked to meet in the main car park.
KEEP FIT: Age UK County Durham is holding a circuits class for the over 40s at St James Church Hall in Burnopfield on Thursdays from 1.30pm-2.30pm. Taking part costs £2 per session but the first session is free.
