Disabled horse riding charity to host Easter fun day in Escomb

AN EASTER fun day will be held at Wear Valley Riding for the Disabled Association in Escomb, near Bishop Auckland, to raise money for the charity. The event, which will feature a raffle, Easter egg competition and much more, takes place from 9.30am to 4pm on Sunday, April 20. Entry is free.

PARK MEETING: The Friends of West Park is holding a meeting to discuss how to improve the park upstairs at the Royal British Legion at MacMillan Road in Newton Aycliffe at 7pm on Tuesday, April 15. All are welcome.

CRAFT MARKET: A food and craft market will take place at Trimdon Grange Community Centre from 9.30am to noon on Saturday, April 26. There will also be a free Punch and Judy puppet show at 10.30am.
