CITY of York Council has announced that its successful free Wi-Fi pilot in the city centre is to be expanded and will include all six current park-and-ride terminals across the city. It will be delivered in three phases, the first of which will be available ahead of the Tour De France coming to the city, in July. The fully supported service will be free, will operate round-the-clock and will be of such high quality that it will be able to support streaming services such as BBC iPlayer.
