TEESDALE WALK: The Crook and District Ramblers has organised an eight mile moderate walk in Teesdale on Sunday, April 20. The group will leave Crook Market Place at 9.15am or alternatively meet the walk leader at Barnard Castle Post Office at 10am. For more details call 0191-5847654.

HISTORY TALK: Professor Arnold Wolfendale will give a talk on astronomer and mathematician Thomas Wright at Crook and District Local History Society at the town’s RAFA Club on Tuesday, April 22, at 7.30pm.
