A TRAMPOLINE course for 11 to 16-year-olds will be launched at Teesdale Leisure Centre, in Barnard Castle, next week. (Tuesday, April 22)

Classes, run by Durham County Council, will begin on Tuesday, April 22, 6.15pm to 7.15pm.

Victoria Lee, sport and physical activity project officer, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for young people to get into a new sport.”

The council may also offer similar sessions for 16 to 25-year-olds, if enough people show an interest.

FAMILY FUN: Eggleston Carnival Committee will host an afternoon of Easter fun at the village hall tomorrow (Bank Holiday Monday, April 21), from noon to 5pm. The event includes a decorated Easter egg competition, stalls, afternoon teas and a village treasure hunt.
