A GREEN Ford Mondeo parked on Grange Road, Darlington, had its rear window smashed and an expensive waterproof coat stolen from inside.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened overnight on Tuesday.

BLUES NIGHT: Musician James O’Hara is the guest performer at The Forum on Friday at a Darlington Rhythm and Blues Club event.

Mr O’Hara has been playing the Blues since 1985 and has fronted several bands including The Detonators and The Giantkillers.

Tickets cost £10 and doors open at 7.30pm.

Darlington PRIORITY crime team makes it sound as if they care. When my car had the rear window smashed they had two witnesses and a guy with a cut arm. Not only did they not press charges they want a significant sum of money to reveal his details which makes a civil case is not financially worthwhile.
Without a witness willing to give evidence and no CCTV pictures there is no chance of a prosecution. Forget about it.
