POLICE are trying to track down a gang of three who beat up a 38-year-old man in the early hours of the morning.
The incident happened at around 1.30am on April 20, on Yorkersgate, Malton, when the victim was attacked in the street .
The three men punched him, knocked him to the ground and then kicked him before they headed off down Railway Street.
The injured man suffered bruising to his face and body, which required treatment in hospital.
The first man officers need to identify is described as around ft 5ft 6in tall and aged in his mid-twenties. He has short brown hair and was wearing a cream coloured t-shirt and blue jeans.
The second man in also in his mid-twenties. He is around 6ft 3in tall with black hair which is short around the sides and curly on top. He was wearing a blue Adidas t-shirt.
The third man is around 5ft tall and has short curly ginger hair.
PC Helen Harris said: "If you witnessed this assault taking place or can help to identify of the men involved I urge you to contact the police immediately."
