South Durham news in brief
OLDER people can find out about the health services available to them in the Newton Aycliffe area next week.
The Pioneering Care Partnership’s (PCP) Cancer Champions team is hosting the event at Newton Aycliffe Youth and Community Centre on Burn Lane, from 11am to 2pm on Wednesday, April 30.
People aged 60 and over are invited to come along and visit information stalls manned by representatives from Care Connect, Durham Equipment Service, Stroke Association, Durham County Carers, Macular Society, Welfare Champions, Healthwatch, PCP, PCP Cancer Champions and MacMillan Cancer Information and Support.
Free soup and bread rolls will be served.
