CRICKETERS may be used to close shaves at the crease, but four young sportsmen survived the real thing when they visited their shirt sponsor.
Cain Leight, Josh Clifford, James O’Neil and Daniel Ferguson, from Ushaw Moor Under 13s Cricket Club, near Durham, visited the Village Barber, in Langley Park, which has sponsored their kit for the new season.
Owner Iain Kane said: “We’re just having a laugh with the lads in the team, they’re a great bunch. I’m pleased to be able to sponsor them again this season with new cricket shirts.”
