A SCHOOL’S dining room was transformed into a scene from Hogwarts for a Harry Potter-themed celebration.
Sixth form students at Barnard Castle School recreated the Great Hall and donned fancy dress costumes based on characters from the film and dined on authentic food associated with Hogwarts, including g roasted pigs heads.
About 100 pupils and 15 staff members attended the event, which was organised by the Sixth Form Common Room’s (SFCR’s) social committee.
A school spokeswoman said: “Students have gone to great lengths for this much anticipated event, which was one of many sixth form formal evenings held over the year.”
