A rugby player will help deliver a programme aimed at inspiring pupils through sport
AN international rugby player will help inspire school pupils as part of a sports-led initiative to motivate youngsters to achieve their dreams.
The Federation of Abbey Schools in Darlington is launching a Be the Best you can Be programme this week, backed by England ladies rugby player and Olympic finalist Katy Storie.
Ms Storie, who helped England win four Six Nations titles, three European Championships and reach a World Cup final, will use her experience to inspire and motivate the pupils.
The Be the Best programme was developed in the wake of the London 2012 Olympics and is designed to empower youngsters through sport and raise their aspirations.
