FUNDRAISING SUCCESS
Members of the All Saints’ Church hand-bell ringers, in Blackwell, Darlington, raised £1600 for the Darlington and District Samaritans with a series of performances at supermarkets around the town. Liz McAllister, director of Darlington Samaritans, said: “I was delighted to receive the immensely generous donation from All Saints’ hand-bell ringers. To be their chosen charity was very encouraging. Our work with callers will be as a result of their activities.”
