Charity's planning permission

The charity Heel and Toe has been granted planning permission by Durham County Council to convert a loft into a meeting space at the former surgery in Front Street, Pelton, which it is converting into a new base.
Bungalow plan: Durham County Council planning officers have granted planning permission for a detached bungalow to be built in Blind Lane, Chester-le-Street.
Tai Chi: A weekly class in Tai Chi aimed at beginners will be held on Tuesday mornings from 9.50am to 10.50am in the Chester-le-Street Community Centre, Newcastle Bank. The cost is £2.
History group: A history group meets at the Brockwell Centre, Pelton Fell, near Chester-le-Street, on Tuesday afternoons between 1.30pm and 3.30pm. For further details about the group call the centre on 0191-389 3399.
