A TALK entitled Darlington Grammar School: the last 30 years will take place in the Centre for Local Studies, at Crown Street library, at 2pm, on Wednesday, May 21.

As well as the talk, Dennis Perkins will share details of the school’s history, from the Second World War to its closure in 1970.

LIVE MUSIC: A comedy and blues night will be held at the Quakerhouse, in Mechanics Yard, on Thursday (May 8). Doors open at 7.30pm and admission is free. The event features comedian Dave Adams and music from blues duo Rachel and Alex Fawcett.
