DARLINGTON town centre will welcome some four-legged visitors this week who are looking for a new home.

Dogs Trust Darlington are bringing their Dogmobile to town to host a meet and greet at Joseph Pease Place tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday.

On board the Dogmobile will be some lovable canines from the Dogs Trust rehoming centre in Sadberge who are in need of a home.

The vehicle will also give supporters and doting dog lovers the chance to find out more about the charity’s work.

Dogmobile assistant manager Laura Nicholas said: “The Dogmobile is a fun, interactive way to help people find out more about rehoming a rescue dog and the brilliant work of Dogs Trust.

“Whilst dogs are not directly rehomed from the Dogmobile, if you do find that it’s puppy love after meeting our adorable dogs, we encourage you to visit our centres to find out more about making a new best friend.

“You’ll also be able to find out about the charity’s fantastic Sponsor a Dog scheme and how you can make a difference by volunteering at your local Dogs Trust centre.”

The Dogmobile will be at Joseph Pease Place between 10am and 4pm over both days.
