INTERNET sessions and baking classes are on offer at a south Durham children’s centre.
Willington One Point Children’s Centre is running a series of courses and workshops over the coming weeks.
An internet cafe session is held at the Durham County Council-run centre on Chapel Street every Friday from 1pm to 4pm.
A spokesman for the centre said: “The session is available for those who require access to a computer or to the internet and sessions can be used for anything from internet shopping, emails and social media, to job searching and application forms.”
Special sessions on Fridays June 13 and 20 will focus on CV writing with one to one appointments available for those who want to ask advice and review their job application documents.
The centre will also be starting a five-week baking course next Thursday.
Sessions will run from 12.30pm to 2.30pm and the course is open to all parents with children under five living in the local area.
For more information on either course, call 03000-268-445.
