MORE than 130 people - including five mayors and their consorts - attended an evening of music and celebration at a village church.
St Edwin's Church, in High Coniscliffe, near Darlington, hosted the event on Saturday.
The Northern Voices choir entertained the congregation and wine and nibbles were served.
The church hall was decorated in red, white and blue bunting to mark the centenary of the First World War.
Proceeds from the evening will be shared between the chosen charities of Darlington mayor Gerald Lee and church funds.
As well as Cllr Lee, the mayors of Hartlepool, Shildon, Great Aycliffe and Barnard Castle were also in attendance.
