BIDS are being invited for funding for projects and activities aimed at young people.
Awards are to be made from a £30,000 fund provided by the East Durham Rural Corridor Area Action Partnership (AAP) for eligible organisations.
Groups can apply for up to £4,000 and youth forum members will assess all of the applications to ensure they meet the criteria.
Applications can come from any not-for-profit body, but the idea behind the bid must eminate from a young person, while the projects must be aimed at benefiting young people in the vicinity.
The AAP covers the villages of Bowburn, Cassop, Quarrington Hill, Kelloe, Coxhoe, and Tursdale, east of Durham, plus Deaf Hill/Trimdon Station, the Trimdons, Fishburn, Sedgefield, Bradbury and Mordon areas in the former Sedgefield district.
Young people between the ages of eight and 17 living or studying within the AAP area will vote to decide which projects will receive funding.
