TASTER sessions for a class to alleviate back, neck and joint pains taking place in September will raise funds for two charities.
Alexander Technique tutor Gail Barlow, who has more than 30 experience of teaching the method, is holding classes in Northallerton on Wednesday, September 10 at the Wellness Clinic; Saturday, September 20 at St Mary’s Church Hall in Barnard Castle; and on Saturday, September 27 at The Station, Richmond.
She said: “I am holding the taster sessions in aid of Macmillan Nurses as are a wonderful charity and I hope to raise lots of money for them.
“At The Station 50 per cent of proceeds will support the venue.”
A minimum donation of £12 per half-hour taster session is suggested. Further information about Alexander Technique and its relevance to back, neck and joint pain can be found at dolphinalexander.com
Sessions are by appointment only, available throughout the day, and can be booked for all venues by contacting Ms Barlow on 01748-823323.
