POLICE are seeking witnesses to a collision in which left a cyclist with serious leg and back injuries.
At about 9.50am on Sunday, October 19, a black Vauxhall Insignia car and a pedal cycle collided on Ricknall Lane in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham.
The cyclist, a 33-year-old man from the Spennymoor, suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries to his right calf and back.
The car driver was unhurt.
Two other men were riding with the cyclist when the accident occurred as the road passed over the A1 motorway.
Investigating officer, PC Andy McDonald, would like to hear from any other road-users of pedestrians who were in the area and witnessed the collision.
