THE Escomb Group of Churches have released their Christmas services timetable which covers the five parishes of Escomb, Etherley, Hamsterley, Witton Park and Witton-Le-Wear.
The Saxon Church, in Escomb, will hold its Christmas Eve Crib Service at 6pm followed by Christmas Day mass at 11am and mass with the Holy Eucharist on Sunday, December 28, at 11am.
St. Cuthbert’s, in Etherley, will hold Christingle and carols on Christmas Eve at 4pm, followed by Holy Eucharist on Sunday, December 28, at 9.15am.
St. James Church, in Hamsterley, will also be hosting a Christmas Eve mass with the Holy Eucharist at 11pm followed by Christmas Day mass at 11am at the Churches Together Centre and Holy Eucharist on Sunday, December 28, at 11am.
Members of the St. Phillip & St. James’ Church, in Witton-Le-Wear, will gather on Christmas Eve for mass at 11am which will be followed by Christmas Day mass at 10.30am and a morning worship on Sunday, December 28, at 10.30am.
Finally, St. Paul’s, in Witton Park, will have a single mass on Christmas Eve at 11.30am.
