Hilda Park FC

The Under-12s lost a close game 4-3 at Willington. Goals from Ethan Burns, Lewis Kilkenny and Josh Watson. MoM: James Watson.

The Under-13s Magpies won 4-0 at home to Langley Park with goals from Dean Metters, Luke Harrison, Miles Fox and Nathan Clattenburg.

The Under-15s were won 6-1 at Foundation of Light Whites. Paul Smith got a hat-trick, James Parkin, Connor Clark and Joe Freeman all got one each. MoM: Connor Clark.

Redcar Town FC

The Under-14 Blues lost 13-0 to league champions Marton Royals, despite playing well. Jack Dye was Town’s MoM.

The Under-13s won 7-1 at Darlington TSC. The hosts took an early lead, but after the break Redcar came back to win with Jack Bowden scoring four goals, while strike partner Jamie Smith scored his first hat-trick and the man of the match award. Marshall Merry and Jack Charlton starred.

The Under-16s lost 4-0 at home to Skelton United with only eight players.

Spraire Lads and Lasses

The Under-7s won 4-0 at home to Ferryhill Town. Captain Hepper bagged a second half hat-trick and midfielder Porter added a fourth to cap off a man of the match performance.

The Under-8s lost 5-3 at home to Norton and Stockton. Archie Revell opened the scoring, but Stockton came back to take the lead. Alex Revill pulled one back and keeper Kaine Loftus scored direct from a goal kick thanks to strong winds.

The Under-9 Panthers won 9-1 at home to SRC. Drew Bryant scored a hat-trick, Harper Mitchell scored a penalty. Owen Easby made some excellent saves in goal.

The Under-10 Lions lost against Leven but battled all the way.

The Under-11s drew 1-1 in a great performance against top of the table Marton Blues. Ethan Ward was on target.

The Under-12s A won 3-2 at home to Thornaby.

The Under-13s drew 3-3 with Kader. Spraire were two-nil down at the break, but a Lewis Alderson strike put them back in the game. Kieran Ellis equalised and then a great strike from Stefan Hornsby put them in front, but Kader equalised. MoM: James Humphries.

The Under-14s lost 6-0 at home to Beechwood. The Men’s team lost 5-3 at home to Argos. The Lasses Under-18s lost 5-0 to Cramlington. The Lasses Under-11s drew 0-0 with Cleveland Juniors. Spraire Ladies won 7-1 at home to Swalwell Ladies.

Darlington RA

The Under-13s Locomotives, sponsored by Young Foundations Fostering, won 6-1 at home to Saltburn Athletic.

The visitors opened the scoring in the sixth minute, but Joe Campion equalised.

Marcus Robinson scored the second and the third came from Luke Bethel before half time.

Campion added his second after the break and keeper Oliver Johnson made a great save to deny Saltburn after.

Campion bagged his hat-trick with a great free-kick and got his fourth to secure the win and move RA up to fourth.

Darlington 21st Allstars

The Under-8s continued their winning form with a 3-1 home victory against Stockton Yellows.

The boys played found themselves one down early on and the Stockton keeper pulled of numerous saves.

However a lovely three man move resulted in Reuben Scoter finding the top corner, Reuben then put the Allstars 2-1 up after some fantastic work by Hari Bondarenko. Ryan Wardell scored a third with goalkeeper Will Fenwick named man of the match for two outstanding saves.

Josh Oliver fired in four goals to help Allstars beat Hartlepool St Francis 4-1.

The pick of the goals came from a corner taken by Josh Robertson with Oliver firing his header beyond the keeper.

The home side did get a consolation goal but Oliver Hodges and keeper Joe Johnson deserve great credit for standing strong.

In the second game, Allstars were narrowly beaten 2-1 with Kenseal Toft the scorer.

The Under-12s A, sponsored by Darlington Motor Factors, won 4-2 at Darlington TSC.

Joe Lamb opened the scoring direct from a corner before Jamie Hutchinson finished off a lovely team goal.

TSC pulled one back, but Lewis Barclay and Ben Eales secured the points. The team shared the man of the match award.

Mount Pleasant Rangers

The Under-12s won 3-2 at home to Guisborough.

A lapse in concentration allowed the visitors to gain the lead, however, Rangers levelled courtesy of striker Kieron Longstaff.

Guisborough regained the lead after half time, but Harry Stanford equalised and Longstaff grabbed the winner two minutes from time. Man of the match went to Tyler Godfrey.

The Under-7s ran out 4-2 winners at Stockton Town Blues. Alfie Rickard (2), George Maddams and Charlie King scored with Thomas Fenny named man of the match.

The friendly finished 0-0 with King named man of the match.

The Under-8s lost 1-0 at Billingham Juniors, despite dominating large parts of the game. The friendly finished 3-0 to the hosts.

The Under-10s won 1-0 at Aycliffe Youth. After seeing his first effort come back off the post, Kyle Caton kept his cool to put Rangers ahead before the break. MoM was Harry Parker, who was a rock in the Mount Pleasant defence.

Bishop Auckland St Mary’s Juniors

The Under-9 Aces had a great win over Billingham after going behind and coming back to win with goals from MoM Finley McGuire, Jay Binks and Karn Wood.

The Under-10 Aces drew 1-1 against Stockton Town Yellows in a very close game with Stockton equalising in the dying seconds.

The Under-11 Kings lost at Skelton with Robson Clarey scoring and James Cook MoM.

The Under-12s had a tremendous win over Spraire Lads Elite with goals from Regan Nixon (9), Oliver Johnson (4), Jack Purdham (3), Dylan Kestle, Sandy Gardner and Gabriel Stevenson.

The Under-13 Aces had a fantastic win over Swalwell Swifts in the County Cup quarter-final with the score standing at 2-2 after extra time with goals from Adam Dovaston and Luke Penberthy.

The game went to penalties and the scorers were Curtis Layfield, Jake Ellison, Lewis Pearson and Luke Penberthy with Taylor Bell playing superbly in goal to take them through to the semi-finals. Oscar Eckley was named MoM.

The Under-13 Kings lost 2-1 against Stockton Rangers with Matthew Moffat scoring and Curtis Curl MoM.

The Under-15s also had a great 6-1 win over Thirsk Falcons with goals from MoM Cieran Jackson (3), Aidan Crooks, Ellis Tait and Nathan Knight.

The Under-7 Aces lost out to Stockton Town with Adam Petty outstanding in goal.

The Under-8 Aces won their game against Golden Flats with Finley Rose scoring all six goals.

The Under-8 Kings had a great game against Newton Aycliffe Juniors with MoM Ethan McLoughlin scoring three, Cobie Woods (3), and James Whales. The friendly was another great game with Blake Milroy starring.

The Under-18 Angels play at home this morning 10.30am kick-off for their first game of the year followed by 14 games on Sunday with five games at BA College.
