MIDDLESBROUGH Futsal Club stormed into the Super League with a comfortable victory over Stockport in the final home match of the regular season on Sunday.

Attentions now turn to the business end of the season as the top 12 teams in England fight for the title of national champions. After the regional stage (North, Midlands and South), the FA National Futsal League pits the top four from each of those regions into two leagues of six, with the top two of each playing the semi finals and final.

Boro will play Sheffield, Birmingham, Genesis and the fully professional Baku United and one from Reading, Bristol City and Oxford City over the course of March, April and May in Group B.

Hodgson was in buoyant mood after qualifying for the Super League and can't wait to face the likes of Baku and Birmingham. "Bring it on," he said when he heard the groups.

"It gives us a chance to show what we are made of against the top teams. We've now got to give it everything in the Super League and take no prisoners. We've given teams an easy ride sometimes, but there is no room for letting up in the Super League," he added.

The first match is at home to Sheffield on March 8 and a Super League ticket priced at an amazing £5 can be bought on borofutsal.com. This single ticket will be valid for ALL Super League matches and is non transferrable.
