A RESTAURANT in north Durham has been given an award for feedback customers have posted online.
Monju, on Park Road, South Moor, near Stanley, has been presented with a Just Eat Tried and Tested 2014 Award.
The family-run business, which has been operating for 28 years, has an average of four-and-a-half stars from more than 100 reviews.
Owner Ala Miah said: “We are very pleased to have this award.
“We do try our best for our customers. That means everything to me.
“I concentrate very hard on making sure everything is fine and nice so that customers enjoy everything about their visit. We are very happy to have that recognised.”
It is the second year running the restaurant has won the award and it has also received an exceptional quality award in the Fast Food Guide.
In a letter, Graham Corfield, the UK managing director of Just Eat, said: “Reviews and ratings are becoming even more important to our Just Eat customers and the more positive review you have, the more you will be seen by customers in your area.”
Mr Miah has been presented with a certificate and a window sticker.
