SCHOOLCHILDREN have opened a new coffee shop.
Pupils from Brandon Primary School, in Brandon, near Durham, were invited to cut the ribbon at the new Costa Coffee, at the Arnison Centre, in Pity Me, today (Wednesday, March 4).
Store manager Hayley Gaffney said it would be involved in the community, giving space to groups and helping with fundraising.
The Arnison Centre is currently undergoing a multi-million pound expansion, with some new units being built and other stores relocating.
