Spraire Lasses and the new Spraire Eagles Under-10s made their debut in the Russell Foster League Round Robin Cup. Results: South Durham and Cestria 0 Spraire Eagles 1, Spraire Lasses U10 1 Spraire Eagles 1. Felling Magpies 0 Spraire Lasses U11 1, Spraire Lasses U11 3 St. Aidens Girls 1. St. Aidens Girls 6 Spraire Lasses U12 1.

The club now runs teams at Under-9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, and 18s.

Mount Pleasant Rangers

The Under-11s ended league leaders Marton Blues’ unbeaten record with a 1-0 win.

The game came to life after half time and the deadlock was broken in the 40th minute when Jack Herring, Kyle Rickard and Thomas Blackburn combined to set up Murray Brock who nestled the ball into the back of the net.

Marton applied pressure in a bid to get back into game but Szymon Strzelezyk and Dylan Shergill saw the match to a safe conclusion.

The Under-7s, sponsored by RPMI, hosted SRC FC. Rangers played some good football winning the first game 4-0 with goals from Charlie King (2) and man of the match Thomas Fenny (2).

Rangers continued their good form into the second game, running out 5-0 winners. Goals from George Maddams, Harry King, Ethan Partis and Charlie King (2). Man of the match was Harry King.

The Under-8s produced their best performance of the season beating Spraire Lads 4-2 at home.

Rangers goals came from Oliver Webster (2) and man of the match Mackenzie Brock (2).

The friendly finished 3-1 to Spraire Lads with the Rangers goal scored by Mackenzie Brock. Man of the match was awarded to Jamie Barker for another assured performance.

The Under-12s A continued their successful season with a 7-1 home win over Cleveland.

Goals from Garryn Huggins (3), Tyler Godfrey (2), Connor McCarthy and Ben Pickering helped boost confidence within the squad as goals have been lacking.

Man of the match went to hat-trick hero Huggins who now has 12 goals to his name this season.

The Under-14s, sponsored by Specsavers Darlington, hosted Bishop Auckland St Mary's.

They produced an excellent display and were unlucky to lose 1-0. Man of the match was awarded to goalkeeper Robbie McIntosh for some excellent saves including a quite unbelievable penalty stop.
