IT may be half-term but it was back to school yesterday for 40 pupils and their parents.
Framwellgate school hosted an activity day for children from ten cluster schools, and their families.
Pottery, cookery and forensics were among the activities.
The cluster was formed in response to a Government initiative to get schools together for extra-curricular activities. The 40 children who took part were drawn out of a hat.
Sainsbury's ran the cookery lessons and Northumbrian Water donated water and goodies.
