QUESTION
My dog has had fits since one year old and is on medication for this problem, but recently he has started wetting at night time, not in his sleep or because of fitting. He is taken for a walk before bed time and hardly ever urinates whilst walking and he saves it for the night The vet has tested his urine and has said it is too neutral and suggested giving him vitimin c tablets but it has been nine days and is still wetting. Please could you suggest any thing we could do to help him.

ANSWER
Dear Craig,
Has your dog been blood tested? Long term epilepsy medication can cause liver problems which could cause wetting. If this is normal than you need to look at times of feeding as dogs usually drink most after a feed.
